Oral/Maxillofacial Procedures

If you need to restore your teeth, jawline or cheekbones, let our surgeons help assess your needs. We can work together to achieve your goals so that you can be more confident and comfortable.
Impacted Wisdom Teeth Removal
If your wisdom teeth are impacted, it could severely affect your other teeth. To avoid teeth movement and crowding, our surgeon will remove your impacted wisdom teeth. This will lower the potential for pain and infection, as well.
Oral Conditions
There are a number of oral conditions, including infected teeth, which may require tooth removal. Our surgeon can treat patients with lesions, pigmentations, cancers, tongue ties and much more. Whether one tooth or multiple teeth need to be addressed to reduce your pain and make your smile healthy, our surgeon will perform the appropriate extraction so that you feel comfortable on a daily basis.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are an excellent solution if you are missing a tooth or multiple teeth. The procedure involves placing a titanium implant into the area of the missing tooth, and over a small period of time, the post will fuse to the jawbone, and a replacement tooth or crown made by your dentist or prosthodontist will be attached to the post. These implants can be made to look like your other teeth, and the implant will be durable and comfortable.
TMJ Treatment
TMJ, or temporomandibular joint disorder, can be an extremely painful condition. Patients who suffer from TMJ can turn to our staff for relief from the pain and discomfort. Without treatment, TMJ may cause teeth grinding or clenching the occlusion and oral habits, mental stress and also the loss of teeth.
Genioplasty is a procedure that can alter the shape of the chin. We can correct the balance of facial features, which is useful for correcting the facial profile when a rhinoplasty procedure is also performed. Our surgeon will make small bony cuts in the bone of the chin, which will allow him to move the point of the chin sideways, forwards, backwards, up or down to correct disproportions.

Typically patients can go back to normal daily routines within about a week following the procedure.
Other Osteotomies of the Jaws
Jaw surgery can help with disproportions of the face. Let our surgeon restore balance to your facial features by tending to an upper jaw (maxilla) that is too long or too short or let us address your lower mandible to either lengthen or shorten it depending on your specific face shape and needs. If you had a fracture in the past to your cheek bones, we can reposition your cheek bones to create symmetrical features.
